Here are some models I'm in the process of using to formulate design propositions.

Step 1: separate out contour layers (5m intervals) and nest sheets

Step 2: laser cut card sheets and glue together (in order)

Step 3: vacuum form card contour model with plastic sheeting

Step 4: plaster cast the plastic moulds, leave to set and turn out

Step 5: carve into model or cut & fill to design proposition

Note: model is at 1:20,000 (approximately 40x60cm)
